Miho Kuroda has over 30 years of experience in customer support, operations, and business leadership within global organizations. She held leadership roles at SAP Japan, most recently as the Engagement, Operations, and Customer Support Director (2020–2025), where she led customer-facing organizations, drove operational excellence, and collaborated closely with global stakeholders.

Tomohiro Mimami

He has experience both in corporate HR departments — at companies such as JR West, Hitachi Kasei (now Resonac), and AstraZeneca — and as an organizational HR consultant at Deloitte and SAP, giving him over 30 years of experience in human resources management. His strength lies in his ability to provide hands-on support not only in the design of strategies and systems but also in their implementation, adoption, and embedding. Since December 2024, he has also served as a Visiting Researcher at Waseda University’s Institute for Global Strategic Leadership.

From January 2014 to December 2021, as an organizational and human resources consultant at Deloitte based in Thailand, he was responsible for providing organizational and HR consulting to Japanese companies throughout the ASEAN region. On the ground, he led hands-on projects such as building HR systems, designing and implementing organizational and succession plans, enhancing and streamlining HR operations, and designing measures to improve labor union management.

As a coach, he has been guiding the careers of over 300 students and working professionals since 2004. In addition, as an executive and leadership coach, he has accumulated extensive experience coaching not only Japanese professionals but also local talent in Southeast Asia, making him one of the few Japanese coaches capable of coaching local talent in the region.

In August 2024, he published A Proposal for a New Japanese-Style Human Resource Management System for Global Companies, followed by the English edition of this book in May 2026.
